Contract Management

Contracts play an important role in today’s business world. The overwhelming majority of business transactions are carried out on a contractual basis. Organisations work with and manage dozens, if not hundreds, of purchasing contracts of every kind. Often, many people and departments within an organisation are responsible for signing and executing the contracts.

Given the high stakes, contract managers need to keep a sharp eye on scores of issues. All involved parties (within their disciplines) need to be informed on a timely basis. The savings of solid contract management can be substantial; contracts are not extended unnecessarily, but renegotiated in time, and legal risks are reduced.
